The Possible Purchase List - Winter 2015

It's been a fair while since I've felt spendy, but it seems like the latest crop of newness on the beauty front is more tempting than usual as I'm preparing my beauty drawers for some new additions...I'm thinking of giving away a few products to lessen the guilt of picking up new bits, and even just considering that makes me feel better about spending overall so hooray for that! I'm not sold on all of these (hence the 'possible purchase' part) but I know that the new Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette will be coming home with me as I love the first three Naked editions and have a lack of smokier shades in my stash anyway. Another absolute no-brainer is the new loot from Chanel - that Alezane blush though! As soon as I saw this post on the Bloomin' Beauty Instagram I was all aboard that Chanel train once more, and I'm even considering popping my Chanel Le Vernis cherry with the dark green from this new Fall 2015 collection.

I think the new Too Faced Love Flush blushes are pretty amazing to look at, but it'd be my first from the brand so I'm going to have to swatch them before I say yay or nay for these ones. Of course it's the most natural shade I've popped into the collage, as it's the most gorgeous in my eyes and one I would get a lot of use from. Speaking of cheek products...I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes so am betting the Ambient Lighting Bronzer would be pretty amazing too, but I need another bronzer like a hole in the head so...

Last but not least on the temptation front are the Surratt blushes - I wouldn't have given them a second thought had I not read this Beauty Reductionista post in which the phrase 'Holy Grail' is uttered, and as luck would have it Surratt is launching at Mecca soon so I'll get a chance to try them out.

What is on your possible purchase list right now?

  1. I've sort of been focusing more on fashion lately (clothes and shoes), but the new Fall releases are getting to me, as well. The one thing I have my eye on is the new Dior fall highlighter! After that, it's some probably more permanent items here and there that I have been looking after. I should do a wishlist post, too - they're fun and they also help to really focus the to-buy list, lol!

    1. I noticed the fashion trend on your Instagram - loving seeing your outfit snaps, and those new Tods shoes are stunning on you! I don't think I've spotted the new Dior highlighter yet, that is probably a good thing though as I'd be tempted! I love doing wishlist type posts, puts things in order and makes me realise what I'd actually like to own and what is just pretty to look at from afar

  2. To be honest, I have very few things on my wishlist right now, but I did just ask Mr to get me some things from Suqqu while he's in London. The Chanel Alezane blush looks beautiful, I think I need to swatch that!

    1. I think it definitely warrants a swatch, my heart already knows that it's coming straight into my collection no matter what though!

  6. I'm really hoping that they'll bring out a trio of ambient lighting bronzers, just as they have with the powders and blushes! x

    1. Ooh now that is an idea, isn't it? I think one of the bronzers (possibly both...) may be too dark for my fair skin but I'm looking forward to trying it out to see. I love my blush trio but definitely don't use it enough, have to pull it out of my drawer methinks!

  7. I also love the look of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer. I think they'd look beautiful during summer!

    1. I think you're right! I'm loving bronzer right now which is so not like me, so I'm using that as an excuse to lust over this one!

  8. I've heard those Too Faced blushes are really good! Haven't tried anything from the brand so I'd be curious to hear your thoughts if you end up getting them :)

    1. Oh really? That is awesome, I haven't seen too many reviews but I have a bunch of their eyeshadow palettes so am a fan of the brand overall I'd say.

  9. A new Too Faced blush is on my wishlist too! Apart from that I'm not overly tempted to spend at the moment - although that's likely to change as soon as I touch down in Singapore next month...

    1. They are so different looking aren't they? Sucker for hearts! I'm already looking forward to seeing some Singapore snaps (and perhaps a haul post afterwards, too?) My godparents live in Singapore but I've only ever passed through the airport, it's on my list of places to explore for sure

  10. Oddly I'm not massively tempted by the new Urban Decay. But then again, I say that each time they launch a Naked palette, haha. Chances are I probably will end up getting it despite disinterest at the beginning. The Too Faced blushes look super adorable, it's the heart-shaped plastic packaging that gets me!

    1. I use all 3 of my Naked palettes quite a bit so it appeases my guilt at wanting another - plus it will look gorgeous sitting next to it's little UD family in my drawers!

  11. I've been ignoring all of the new releases because I'm on a Project 50 Pan, but I have my eye on the new goodies being released by Hourglass. *grabby hands*

    1. Yeah they look pretty good don't they? That new mega palette *heart eyes* Project 50 pan must take so much willpower!

  12. I was just in Sephora the other day and the Too Faced blushes look absolutely gorgeous....the packaging is too freaking cute! Surprisingly I'm not really gravitated towards the Naked Smokey as I feel like there a lot of resemblance to other shades from the previous palettes even though they are not the same. I don't know....but I might fall for it later on hahah. The Hourglass Ambient Bronzers are really pretty but very veryyyy shimmery and that deterred me away from getting it since I prefer my bronzers matte overall.

    1. Uhhh so jealous of you having a Sephora damnit! I don't mind if there is a resemblance between naked palette shades - I've used up a few shades in mine so it would be a welcome thing actually!

  13. I think most of the products that you have showed here. I am eyeing on the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes and the Surratt blushes. So excited about these....

  14. Great post!!! I want so much but need nothing ;)

I'm really wanting the Mecca Jet Set Travel Bag as well as some Tom Ford brushes. I'm holding out for the Hourglass bronzer and will get their Holiday palette later this year.

  15. The Naked Smoky is a palette that I would love to own but it is rather hard for me to get my hands on it ;)
I´m gonna try to get my hands on it but until then I am on a serious NO BUY!!
I need to save money and shop my own stash for a while :)

    1. Do any online stores ship to you Anna? I think that is how I might buy mine, unless I find it in stock somewhere local

  16. Hehe, I hope the Surratts live up to expectation if you end up getting any! I think some people were disappointed but I still love them and the idea of an entire blush stash fitting into the palm of hand is too enticing to ignore. Chanel Fall is on my watch list, too. The gold shimmer in that neutral blush colour looks too pretty to ignore!

    1. I will be happy to just be trying out a new blush brand I think, but from the sounds of things they are pretty awesome so I should be alright. Chanel is my everything right now

  17. I can only speak for the Hourglass bronzer and Surratt blushes, but they're both amazing! I've been reaching for that bronzer nonstop lately. So much love!

    1. So good to hear that you love those two - the bronzer might be a bit dark for me but I think I can make it work!
