I follow the essence collections with glee, and was excited to stumble upon this marbling themed collection while late night shopping at Highpoint. The collection is something fresh and I think essence manage to stay on top of trends while still delivering high quality products.
The collection contains a water marbling nail kit, nail colours, baked eyeshadows, a baked blush, marbled glosses and a marbled mascara.
The polishes range from an apricot shade to a sleek silver, and the water marbling kit is a great gimmick by the company to pair alongside them!
The eyeshadows look great, but when swirled together the colours weren't anything I thought I would get use from, and so I chose to not pick any up.
The price point for this collection is great, with the tags swinging from $3.50 AUD for the polishes to $6.50 AUD for the blush. I only picked up one item from this collection (the blush) and might have a post on it in the future. Let me know if that is something you'd like to see.
I think the theme of this collection is on trend and looks to be well executed, and I may consider picking up some more items soon. I am fascinated by the idea of a marbled mascara, has that been done before?
essence is available at Target stores Australia wide!
Have you picked up anything from this collection?
Do you think the theme is a good one?
WOO. I've been looking forward to a new Essence collection. :) The lipglosses and blush intrigue me - everything else seems like a pass at the moment. The marble mascara is a very weird idea... Not sure if it enhances the product that much! xx
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Essence over here in Finland cause I really love what I see :)
ReplyDeleteMarbled mascara.. I have never heard of it before.. made me really curious :D
I have tried the nail polish water marbling thing but it has never worked for me... my polishes doesn´t want to do what I want them to do ;)
