Skipped a month as I just couldn't be bothered doing an empties post, so here is a double lot for you! Most of these were finished up in May, so an April empties post would have been quite boring anyway!
*
Nivea Invisible 48hr Clear Deodorant*- This is not empty, but broke my skin out in a terrible rash along my side and armpit towards my back. This was true to the description and did not leave white marks, but it also the first deodorant to give me a reaction. Will not be repuchasing.
Rexona Girl Tropical Energy Deodorant- This is my favourite deodorant, the scent is lovely and I find it works well day to day. This is probably the 10th can I've finished up and I will continue repurchasing.
1SkinSolution Bath & Shower Crystals*- This has the scent of lime and lavender, and let me tell you that mix is divine! I used this as a body scrub in the shower and found it nice and scrubby, and the oils felt luxurious and moistursing as well. I have a review of another 1SkinSolutions product here.
Armand Basi fragrance sample- Nothing outstanding, I can't even remember what it smelt like.
YSL Saharienne fragrance sample- This was quite a heavy scent, but I liked it on and enjoyed using the sample. It isn't something I would buy, though.
Softlips in Cherry*- I adore the Softlips balms, but when I applied this one night I was hit with the sudden taste of salt! I mentioned it to Chris and he looked quite sheepish-it turns out he dropped this in the ocean at Phi Phi island and wasn't going to tell me! Taste of the sea, indeed! Out it goes, along with his balm-borrowing allowance.
Beauty Co Makeup Remover Pads- These fall apart more easily than the Priceline branded ones, but are much cheaper. I go through quite a lot of them with my skincare, so these are more cost-effective for me.
Australis Wipes- These were thinner than I generally like my wipes to be, but were good for wiping off swatches and general makeup touch ups. I bought these for less than $2 so can't complain!
Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo sample- My hair hates Pantene, so I am not a fan of them either.
Bioderma Crealine h20*- This is on the top of everyones list for a reason, this stuff is amazing. It actually hurt to finish this, and I will be repuchasing, no doubt in my mind.
Botanical Creations Body Scrub in Lavender, Chamomile and Geranium- This was a Priceline exclusive product that has been discontinued, and I am shattered about that. It's the perfect blend of scrub and aromatherapy, it has ultra-fine particles that really do scrub well, and the scent is phenomenal. This is also really moisturising, and I am glad I have a drawer full of back ups of this in various scents.
What products did you finish this month?
Have you tried any of the products I've finished up?
*Products marked were provided for consideration, which does not affect these mini reviews or my opinions. Sample were mentioned as such. Honesty, always.
love empties post.
ReplyDeletewhere did you get your bioderma from?
As a fellow Melbourne girl, I want to buy a full size but don't want to have to pay for postage from France. Is there a stockist in Melbourne you get it from?

ReplyDeleteI always love your empties posts you have great taste in products!
@crosswire He snapped one and dropped one in the ocean, who does that!? Haha. Aw thank you I wish I could finish up more makeup though
DeleteYou finished up a good amount of products in two months! I featured Australis face wipes in my empties post too; we have similar opinions - they do an okay job. Great post xx
ReplyDelete@Michelle thank you! I'd repurchase them on sale again but they don't beat my beloved Priceline wipes ;P x
DeleteWhere did you purchase your Bioderma from? I am looking to buy a big bottle after trying the sample in Lust Have It!, it really is amazing.
ReplyDeletexo
@crosswire I have a full post coming up on it, it's available in Aus now hurrah!
DeleteI'm really tempted to try Bioderma at least once because of all the raves I've read! How much did the bottle cost?
ReplyDelete@Vita the bottle was given to me by PR but from memory I think it's around $30? I think it is more cost effective to get the giant bottle though, will find out and put the details in my upcoming post for you :D
DeleteThanks!
DeleteLOL the story about dropping your lip balm in the sea is hilarious! And omg Softlips, that takes me back to mid high school when I was obsessed with them :)
