You might remember about a month ago I shared my overflowing shower situation with you in this post. I ended up impressing myself, instead of finishing up the 5 products I completed 8 items!
Botanics of Australia Revitalising Body Cleanser*
Garnier Fructis Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
Garnier Fructis Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
John Frieda Conditioner 3 *
Lush Glogg Shower Gel
Burt's Bees Cranberry and Pomegranate Sugar Scrub
Alpha-H Age Delay Cleansing Oil*
Charmed soap bar
I'm pretty content with having less in my shower caddy, I still have a lot to choose from but more room to store them. I needed to throw out the soap bar, it was never going to be used and looks gross so out it goes. My favourite products from this challenge would have to be the L'Occitane shower cream and the Alpha-H Age Delay. I will be going into mini reviews tomorrow when these also feature in my June Empties, so be sure to check that out if you are interested in seeing what I thought of any of these.
Though I said I would treat myself to some Haus of Gloi products when I finished up some shower items, I came home from work to find some new shower products from Clarins and L'Occitane waiting for me so I am going to hold off for now. It looks like the PR for those companies decided to reward me prematurely!
How much does your shower caddy hold?
Is it overflowing?

Wow you get through so much shower stuff! My shower is ridiculous at the moment, especially with all my boy's stuff in there too.
ReplyDelete@Michaela I ended up really impressing myself! All the half-used prodz are finito, woohoo
DeleteWoot - high five lady friend. x
ReplyDelete@Michelle thank you fellow lady friend :D
DeleteLOL @ "shower situation"! Good for you, Emma. :)
ReplyDeleteMy bathroom cabinet is stuffed with things but I keep only the ones I'm trying to finish in the shower. I've discovered that the trick is to concentrate forces on one of each kind of product until they die!
@Liz it really was a situatuon ;P I like the idea of only keeping a few items in the shower, the sad thing is I have a heap of shower prodz stocked in the cabinet as well lol. I do love a sweet smelling shower gel!
DeleteI have two body washes in my shower, one to relax, and one to wake up :) I tend to buy massive bottles and then get a bit sick of them so I have decided once I finish my current massive one, I will buy smaller bottles so I can try more scents! Oh and I have one scrub at the moment too. Body Shop coconut scrub, it is AMAZING! :)
ReplyDelete@Candi haha one to relaaaaax and one for damn cold early morning shower, yup! The Original Source ones in Lime or Lemon are tops for that. I like smaller bottles too. The last Body Shop one I tried was that lemon one and it was slimy, is the coconut one any better?
Deletei love all the reviews on your blog.

@misskwong thank you for your comment, no need to leave a link I always check out the blogs of those who comment :)
DeleteYay, Emma! Good job! I try to be strict with myself about shower things, and just finish something before I open something else. It does get really hard, though, when there are new fabulous things sitting around, waiting to be tried!
ReplyDelete@Larie thanks! I like to have a few choices in the shower but it all just got too much, so I'm really glad to have gotten rid of some things and am now on to trialling some new and exciting shower goodies :)
DeleteNice products :)
ReplyDeleteThat Burt's Bees Cranberry and Pomegranate Sugar Scrub sound AMAZING O.O
Our shower caddy was overflowing big time so we had to use the floor xD
I decided to do something about it one day and now everything looks neat and tidy :) I wonder for how long though :D
That's quite a lot of stuff for one shower caddy! xx
ReplyDeleteMy shower is a little ridiculous at the moment also... you did such a good job at finishing up all those things!
ReplyDeletewow that's fast! lol sometimes it can take me like a year to finish 1 haircare product (something like a de-frizz lotion or hairspray hahah!). but that's cool~ then you get to try more new products. Hmm I still have like 2 cleansers to finish but i alternate both so i can use them up :P keep in touch <33
