What I Wore // Love Edition

Even though I am a firm believer that romance is nicer on random days than on February 14th, I still used Valentine’s Day as an excuse to enjoy a nice meal out with my man. I have a few heart themed posts coming up, just to push the idea that love (for life, for beauty, for everything!) is something to be revered all year round. I used some exciting cosmetics to make the night feel a bit special, and I was really happy with how it all turned out. I was only able to catch this blurry picture of my actual face as I was too focused on the thought of food to find some decent lighting. It says a lot that my dinner pictures are clearer, doesn’t it!? I hope you still manage to see how it looked, and I’d love to know what you think of it.

Hope you find love in beauty and food like I do! I’d love to hear what you got up to on February 14th!

    1. @lilladylife It took me so long to find somewhere that would ship it to Australia! You don't want to know how much my man ended up forking out for this, so pricy so lucky I am head over heels for it :)

  5. O-M-G - shouldn't have gone onto your post when I'm hungry. The food! LUSH!!! Me? What did I get up to? Well, nothing, but I didn't have to cook that day. Nothing to do with Valentine's Day though. More because I didn't thaw the meat in time...hahaha..whatever that gets me off from cooking! Anyway, I am soooo envious of your lashes lady!! xx

    1. @Ling any reason why you aren't a Stila fan? My bestie has quite a few of their shadows (bought by me) that are nice, and I have their cream colour bases but that is all I have tried. A very cute heart blush, they bring out a new version each year :)

    1. @sleepandwater Exactly the kind of look I was going for :) I bought mine from ebay (well, my man did technically!) but from what I've spoken to the LM PR with, it won't be out in the first half of this year :( I will definitely keep you updated if I hear news though. And yes, you do need it, it is even more amazing than the one we already have!

  9. I celebrated with my boyfriend by going out for a lovely dinner and watching dvds with a glass of wine. First time I've ever done anything for Valentine's, but it was wonderful!
