I’d been looking through my brush collection and felt that
it was lacking, and I had my eyes on the Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman
range. After looking around online I decided to order them from iHerb. Sadly not every brush from the
range was available, but I ended up choosing the Stippling Brush and the Base/Flawless
Core Collection.
The brushes I am most excited to try would have to be the
Stippling Brush, Buffing Brush and the Contour brush.

Of course, I wouldn’t be a true beauty blogger if I didn’t
throw other items into my cart, and so I chose some lip balms and the Queen
Helene Mint Julep mask. I chose a Crazy Rumours balm in Freshly Squeezed Pink
Grapefruit Juice as I have been on a pink grapefruit hunt at the moment, and
the Soda Pop Root Beer flavour is for my best friend Candice. I also
threw in a Hurraw balm in Blue Chamomile Vanilla.
I decided to load up on the Queen Helene masks as they were
only $3.84 each, and I had seen so many rave reviews about them. I’m happy to
say that first impressions are looking promising, I have only used the mask
once but feel I may be falling in love.
I will be reviewing all of these in detail once I’ve tried
them out properly, but do let me know what you are most excited to hear about!
The total order came to $47.23 which I thought was really
reasonable for the amount of products I received. Shipping to Australia was $4
and I received $5 off as this was my first iHerb order. Everything came safely packaged and came
within 2 weeks, which I was really happy with. If you are interested in
purchasing something from iHerb be sure to use the code BEJ649 to receive $5
off your first order. To be clear, I receive some sort of iHerb reward points if you use this code (not sure of exact details) but all who make an iHerb purchase get this opportunity and the
code is not blog-related. Happy shopping!
*I was not sponsored for this post and am not affiliated with iHerb in any way, I'm just obsessed with shopping!
my love for iHerb knows no bounds. x
ReplyDelete@Michelle couldn't believe how cheap shipping was! Elated x
DeleteOooh, can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Real Techniques brushes, I've been wanting to try them for ages but I'm trying not to spend too much money at the moment, especially on makeup items!! Also interested in the Queen Helene mask, wondering if it will be ok on my semi-sensitive skin? Great haul!
ReplyDelete@Angie I thought the brushes would be much more expensive, I was so happy! I will definitely be posting reviews on them :D I have pretty angry skin and so far it has done nothing but calm, so I'd say it would be good for your skin too:)
DeleteI been eyeing off those brushes for a while now! I first looked at iherb but didnt know if they were ok to buy from but since then Ive read so many ppl buying off them so I guess its safe! I can't wait to order mine!
ReplyDelete@kerker it felt so good to bite the bullet and order them, I wish I had've bought the blush brush as well! iHerb were really good! I've heard nothing but positive reviews so go and buy, make sure you take that $5 off code too!
DeleteYou have the two sets of Real Techniques brushes I do. :) And your 3 most anticipated brushes are my favourites! Ordering from iHerb is so appealing because of the cheap shipping and the discount code, I love it! I have the Queen Helene mask from years ago; from memory I think I paid about $15 from eBay so you definitely got a steal! xx
ReplyDelete@Michelle Oh we have the same taste, love it! Oh yeah I got the masks for a steal, no idea why they were that cheap I am so happy with the whole order :)
DeleteGreat stuff! I love my Real Techniques brushes. And I just tried that masque the other day and love it! Looks like you got them for a great price!
ReplyDelete@Peach I love the brushes so far! Glad you are loving that masque too, I saw results from one use which is unusual!
DeleteI have the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and powder brush - absolutely amazing with a low price! I can't explain how well they do here, just simply good value for money.

@misskwong I used the stippling brush today and really liked the effect. Wish I had've bought the blush brush though!
DeleteI def need that set from RT! I have the stippling and blush burs and love them!! That Mint Julep mask is a staple of mine. Never without a bottle. Have been using it for 7+ years!!

@yessie the set is such great value, and for such wonderful quality! I'm so glad to hear you love the mask, it's such a great consistency I'm very happy to have grabbed so many bottles :) Thanks for following xx
DeleteI haven't used iHerb but have heard some great things about them! I bought my RT brushes from http://www.sahairsupplies.com.au They have a store in Sydney, so it was just easier to buy them there. Even though they are a bit more expensive, I liked that I could see them in person first. Also I didn't need to wait for shipping :) Which is always a plus.
ReplyDeleteOooh how exciting! I've been thinking of getting some of these brushes! I'm also really keen to see what you think of the Mint Julep mask!
ReplyDeleteI lOVE that RT stippling brush! It's really great for cream blush, especially.
ReplyDeleteI got some of those lovely brushes recently too although I forked out the inflated price at Priceline because once I spotted them I couldn't resist. I see you've hit 200 followers - a little congratulations there to you Emma! xo
ReplyDeleteI've heard only great things about the Real Techniques brushes, I was thinking of ordering mine on iHerb too as they have better prices than priceline
ReplyDeleteiHerb is incredible- my only regret is ordering things in several orders- I wish I'd just bitten the bullet and ordered everything in one go at the beginning. Paying $6 shipping every time is getting tiresome. I've got the RT blush brush, the Stippling brush and the Queen Helene Mint Julep masque in my cart at the moment. I ordered the stippling brush and the mask months ago but they never arrived so I'll have to order again.
