Vanilla, Shell, Cork, Espresso, Smokey Taupe and Black Nectarine, Blushing Bride, Dusty Pink, Vintage Rose, Pink Bliss and Fresh Coral |
I've been steadily working my way through all of these blushes, and I am happy to report that all of them are really lovely! Some are quite pale so might not suit darker complexions than mine, but I find them to sit really nicely on my fair skin. There is a definite stand out shade though, in the form of the booming bright Nectarine which is just divine. I've been returning to this shade quite a bit and pairing it with my Revlon Pango Peach lipgloss, which is also a big love of mine. Now that the weather is slowly heating up I refuse to take lipstick out with me in my handbag for fear of it melting, so I am turning to some lovely glosses like this one!
What do you think of this eye and cheek palette?
Have you tried anything from Ben Nye, or have you been to IMATS?
Do you like wearing gloss in the summer too?

Absolutely beautiful! I've seen how pigmented and smooth these blushes and shadows are...I really would like some blushes from them in the future and their face powders! Have fun using this!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharlynn! They seem to be a very popular brand so I am grateful to have gotten a chance to grab this palette at IMATS :)
DeleteI'm in love with those blush shades Emma! Perhaps you could post some swatches?
ReplyDeleteI'll pop that in my blogging book to-do list Vita!
DeleteThat's way more blush than I could handle!
ReplyDeleteHaha I can't wait until the day you see my blush drawer, you will actually be shocked at how many blushes a single person can own!
DeleteI have Ben Nye's Fashion Rouge Palette which contains 8 gorgeous blush shades. I love how pigmented and long lasting they are. I happen to have Nectarine in my palette as well but I'm quite intimidated to use it cause it's so bright! Seeing that you love the shade so much will definitely make me reconsider and try it out. Embarrassingly enough I don't think I've actually touched that shade aside from swatching it! haha :P
ReplyDeleteTry using Nectarine with a stippling brush, it's pretty easy to apply with those for a sheerer colour on the cheek!
DeleteThat looks like a beautiful palette, I have a lot of things that I buy as well and then don't use for ages like the UD Book of shadows no 4, I bought it over a year ago and only started using it recently cos I completely forgot about it haha! I haven't used any Ben Nye products but would love to get my hands on some :-)
ReplyDeletehaha glad to hear that I am not the only one who does this then!
DeleteYou made me buy the Ben Nye palette and I am absolutely loving it! Thanks for posting this x
