Popped on some of the shadows from the Models Prefer Sweet Kisses palette I reviewed yesterday, because sometimes you just need to see a wee creation to bring the palette to life!
I basically just chose some of my favourite shades from this palette and threw them onto m eyelids, which I maintain is the best way to wear bright shadows. The trick is all in the blending and using a touch of eyeliner to anchor down the crazy - this can make almost any eye look wearable!
Eyes:Models Prefer Sweet Kisses palette:
*Mint Slice
*Pistachio
*Black Forest
*Butter Cream
*Honey Crunch
Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara
essence Hot Chocolate liner
Lips:
Revlon lipgloss in Crystal Water
Do you dare to wear bright mixes too?
Which of these shades should I throw together next?

This is so pretty! They look great in the palette, but even better on you. I'd love to see you wear some of the neutrals with the blue next.
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! I think using the shades can help people decide whether the colour payoff is right for them once it hits the lids. I will make a note to try the blues and neutrals soon!
DeleteThis look definitely brings out the green of your eyes!
ReplyDeleteI think so too, I love it when that happens lol
Deletelove the eye look :) and these bright shades look good on you ..
ReplyDeleteI am comfortable wearing bright shades though I admit I go most for neutrals
Thank you so much Saumya, I love wearing bright shades like this :) I do agree though, neutrals are often just easy because you don't really have to think about them as much!
DeleteLove it! I love the green shadow against your greeny eyes, beautiful! I think you should try a pink and bronze look next! That's one of my fave combos!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the effect to, so glad you agree :) Pink and bronze is something I wouldn't have thought of, I'll try it soon thanks!
DeleteOh my gosh this looks so lovely! Bright colours can be really scary but you pulled this off magically!

Thanks Candice! I think that a good blending brush can really take the fear out of the brights ;p
Deletepretty look :) xoxox
ReplyDeleteThanks Kat! x
DeleteWhat a cute palette and such a pretty eye look too! Loving the color combo!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ash, I was really happy with the colour combo!
DeleteSo pretty! You wear colour so well - even bright shadows look so flattering on you and not garish or clashing at all. The whole look reminds me a lot of the Roberto Cavalli 'butterfly eyes' that the makeup artists did for Fall 2012 that I was obsessed with!
