Sea Buckthorn from Southern Tuscany // Weleda Organic Body Lotions

The first thing I thought when this travel set of Weleda lotions hit my desk was ‘Sea Buckthorn? What!?’ I had never heard of the ingredient before, and after researching it I found out that it is very high in vitamin C! Weleda sources theirs from the mountain regions of Southern Tuscany, which definitely added to the exotic appeal of the tangy orange lotion. I had entered an Echolife competition to win this travel set of lotions and promptly forgotten about my entry, so was pleased when I found out I had won!

I was even more pleased to find out how soft these lotions made my skin. I typically use them on my arms day and night, and though they are lotions they are quite thick and take a while to sink in, you really have to rub at them. I didn’t mind as I tend to use them while in front of a YouTube video, and they leave the softest skin behind so the work pays off. The Wild Rose scent is a bit too full on for my taste, but the Pomegranate and Citrus scents are refreshing and different to the usual scents I see on the market. Sea Buckthorn is definitely my favourite from the quartet, and I am pleased to report that the lotions are all natural, vegan, are not tested on animals and are free from parabens. Weleda, pat on the back!

The Weleda Travel Lotion pack retails for $24.90 with free shipping at Echolife!

*I won this pack from Echolife and opinions are my own. Honesty, always!

Cotton Candy // Urban Rituelle's Petit Parfum

For someone who claims to be clueless about fragrance, I have amassed a wide collection of bottles filled to the brim with the stuff! My most reached for fragrance of late has without a doubt been my purse sized Urban Rituelle parfum in the scent 'Cotton Candy'.
Coming from the Sweet Treats collection, Cotton Candy is officially described as "A playful, melt in your mouth scent that opens wit ha sweet explosion of rich, spun sugar followed by the warmth of smooth toffee & powdery musk." This scent does invoke cotton candy (or fairy floss as we call it) and I love the uber sweet nature of it, though I can see how some would find it cloying and too much for them.

I wore this to work, to dinner, to brunch, literally everywhere I went had a sniff of this. The girls at work would ask every day if they could borrow a squirt or two, and this 12ml bottle was drained quite quickly. I was nearing the end of this when it smashed, and I am thankful that it will only be a mere $13.99 to bring a fresh bottle back into my purse!

The Cotton Candy fragrance (and the rest of the Sweet Treats range) comes in a variety of forms, and I was kindly gifted a hand cream to match my fragrance. I find the cream a much lighter scent than the parfum, so those who like just a touch of sweetness may prefer these sorts of items within the range. Also available are lip balms, soaps, candles, butter creams and gift sets. The packaging of the gifts sets? Divine, perfect for Christmas so you bet a few people in my corner of the world will have something from Urban Rituelle range under the tree.

I have already purchased a new bottle of this, and will probably stockpile some when they seem to be leaving stores. I'm also tempted to get another scent from the collection, but I just can't decide! (Peach Blossom and Pomegranate are calling my name...) Even though it isn't the longest lasting scent I own, I quite like spraying it throughout the day.

Urban Rituelle is available at Myer, Forever New and stores across Australia and internationally. To buy online and for more stockists both Australian and International, click here.

Are you a fan of sweet fragrances?
What is your number one fragrance right now?

*These products were provided for consideration, but I honesty loved the fragrance and would've raved about it no matter what. I repurchased this with my own money. Honesty, always.

City Cosmetics Haul!

Along with my MAC Posh Paradise goodies, I also picked up some other treats while in the city a few weeks ago. I thought I would share them here, I am yet to try them all out so I am very excited to do so!
I stopped by Zuza in Melbourne Central to find that they were having a closing down sale. These blushes were only $10 a pop! I'd never tried anything from DuWop and only the Beach Tints from Becca so was happy to have scored these!
Becca Creme Blush in Frangipani($10-Zuza)
Becca Creme Blush in Frangipani is a deep rusty red shimmer that is sheer on, but buildable. It stood out to me as I've been sighing over red toned blushes lately, and thought this would be a safe step into 'red blush' territory.
DuWop Pomegranate Illuminating Blush($10-Zuza)
A stunning peachy toned 'blushbooster' from DuWop, quite pigmented and flattering.
OPI Muppetes Mini Nail Lacquers ($24.95-David Jones)
Though I am not a nail obsessed girl, I was drawn to this collection like a moth to a flame. I was contemplating picking up some glitters from the collection but didn't think I would get much wear from them. The multi-coloured 'Rainbow Connection' shade was amazing, but I have a polish that is too similar to warrant me buying it, so I opted for this mini pack of 4 shades from the OPI Muppets collection.
Wocka Wocka! is a gorgeous creamy red shade, and Excuse Moi! is a glitterful pink stunner.
Designer...de Better! is unlike anything else in my collection, while Warm & Fozzie satisfies my love for bronzed up nail shades.

The Face Shop Nail Polishes ($3.00 at The Face Shop)
I chose the lilac shade (PP404) because it had a slight silver shimmer to it, and I have misplaced my creamy lilac shade so needed a replacement.
The sweet pink shade (PK1100) was my kind of 'Barbie' colour, and is a simple creme that takes my breath away. I hope these last well on me, for such a nice price I'd love to add more to my collection.
Lovely ME:EX Blusher in PK103(The Face Shop-$12.95 from memory)
I was so tempted by the orange shade in the collection of blushers they had on display, but I have so many and am lacking in the pretty pink blush department. It's a nice pink that is quite bright and shimmery, I can't wait to pop this on my cheeks! The packaging for this was an attraction, too. I really like the slimline style in fresh white with the classy picture alongside the window display.

I was so happy with my city hauls!
Have you picked up anything nice lately?
Have you tried any of these products or brands?

After heading into The Face Shop every single time I'm in the city, I finally made a purchase! I chose two nail polishes in sweet pastel shades, an exfoliating sheet mask and a funky pink blushe (and was given a free cleanser sample!)
