Gracing my Face #01

As much as I adore reading monthly favourite posts, I also love hearing about the products in between that people are using. They don't have to fall into the 'love' category, they are just things that have been getting used, and here I share mine with you.
BYS Blush Duo in 03 Miss Pink* - For such an affordable (read:cheap) blush, this is packed with pigment. I've been mixing the two shades together for a good healthy flush.

Face of Australia Impact Curl Mascara - I've bought this when it first came out, and grabbed one for my sister at the same time. I've been envying her lashes for quite a while, and finally realised I owned the same mascara! Only been using it for a few days but I have a feeling it will be in my November favourites.

L'Oreal Color Infaillible in 006 All Night Blue - This is my go-to for smoky eyes, and when I went out for dinner with the girls I felt amazing in this deep blue shade.

L'Oreal Color Riche Colour Caresse lipsick in Merino Mauve - I bought this from Jessica's blog sale and I've been reaching for it because it seems to go with everything. The formula is comfortable on and feels just like a balm to me. I look forward to these arriving on Australian shores so I can swatch away!

Illamasqua Skin Base in 3.5 - I was matched to this in Sydney and have been wearing it as it is one of the few foundations that match my pale skin right now. Not sure how I feel about it, but have been wearing it quite often.

Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream - Another Sydney buy, this smells spicy and delicious and I've been enjoying my nightly ritual of really massaging it into my face. Haven't been using it long enough to know much more about it than I feel spesh when I use it.

Inglot blush in AMC 56 - Bought this in pan form and popped it into my Girlee cosmetics palette, and I've been reaching for it because it's been out and staring at me. It's a little shimmery, but a pretty pink shade and the formula of Inglot powders are lovely.

What has been gracing your face lately?

  1. How is the Face of Australia Impact Curl Mascara?
I am looking for a good curling mascara with volume .. not that interested in length .. I have stick straight lashes :(

  2. I've never seen a double BYS blush before they look so interesting. I own a few singles and they're amazingly pigmented, where did you purchase it? I also really want to try the FOA mascara!

  3. LOVE this post! I love hearing about the products people are using, especially from another country! You guys have some great brands by the looks of it!
I have the Illamsaqua Skin Base too. I'm not sure about it either haha!

  4. I have yet to try that FOA Impact Curl mascara btw. I've always used Benefit's Bad Gal mascara and They're Real. Surprisingly I've also been using the Lime Lilly eyeshadow palette that I bought at IMATS. I know I complained how they're not pigmented enough but have learned to just build it up instead. ;)

  5. I think this is great post idea too Emma! The BYS blush looks particularly pretty so I might pop this onto my after-Christmas shopping list. I've been wearing a few things over and over lately - mainly my MAC Shale and Phloof! shadows for work and I've been wearing my Nyx mosaic blush pan nearly every day because it gives me the most natural flush :)

  6. The blush duo! The blue shadow! *grabby hands*

I keep wearing the same things lately because I've been doing my face during the subway commute or at the office washroom. :( Keep meaning to do a post but it's been bad weather days for photos.

  7. I've been hearing so much about Antipodes lately, never tried any of their products but seems like they're gaining quite a bit of attention :) I have always wondered about Skin Base - seems like it's a bit fuller coverage than what I'd be used to though.
