I tend to either hit a wall while blogging and fall asleep
in no time, or enjoy taking my time to pamper myself before bed. If I can be
bothered, these are the star products kept close to my sleeping quarters.
To be honest, The
Body Shop Moringa body butter has
been joined by the new Vanilla Bliss*
fragrance, I alternate between festive and yummy or floral and summery to keep
my skin soft. I can’t get enough of my Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance lotion,
that stuff couldn’t smell better if it tried. Hands are treated to my all-time
favourite cream, Endota Spa’s Lavender & Alpine Pepper*. Never would I have
considered putting lavender with pepper, so I guess it is lucky there are
places like Endota around!
I’ve almost used up my QV
Heel Balm, and love slathering it on
before I go to bed to keep my feet from getting dry and horrible. There is
nothing worse (in my opinion) than seeing someone wearing a killer pair of
shoes, with cracked and peeling heels. Avoid at all costs, prevention is better
than cure in this scenario. My L’Occitane
Lavande Cologne* smells too good, and
relaxes me if I’m feeling anxious or having trouble going to sleep at night.
This sits on my desk and I use it quite frequently to soothe my mind (and make
myself smell good in the process) Huge bottle is a lifesaver! I tend to give
myself a manicure before bed, so that I can sleep in a little later in the
morning rather than having to do my nails then. Seche Vite is a topcoat I am trying out at the moment (and Sally Hansen Diamond Flash*, too) I’m
leaning towards vampy nails right now (bottle pictured is from the essence Breaking Dawn Part 2 collection) I’m also loving festive nails, but
summer is coming so I am sure brights will be gracing my nails quite often as
well.

Thanks Charlee, I've heard a lot of good things about Sudocrem! I appreciate your comment, but please refrain from leaving personal links in the comment section-I check all the blogs of all who comment anyway :) Thanks x
DeleteI love seeing a nice round-up like this! I've been wandering towards the lavender shelf at L'Occitane a lot lately but can't bring myself to pay that price so soon after my recent shopping escapades. BUT YOU ARE MAKING MY LEMMING GO CRAZY!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz! I'm fond of round up posts too, a good way to rave about a bunch of things at once. I really enjoy L'Occitane products, perfect for stockings for a bit of luxe I think. Lemm away my love ;P
DeleteMy nightly routine is on a 3 nightly rotation system - which seems to be working quite well! I double cleanse (oil then cleanser), then apply either a prescription vitamin A cream, Clinique Turnaround Concentrate, or Trilogy Age Proof Booster Serum, followed up by Clinique Comfort On Call Cream, and Origins Spot Treatment on any breakouts, and my eye cream which is currently the Alpha-H Age Delay one. I slather myself in body lotion daily, without fail, sometimes twice daily. I also have Soap & Glory Hand Food beside my bed for applying before bed. I should really be applying foot cream more often too - as well as nail treatments! They're just always items that I forget about!
ReplyDelete@Lucy I love double cleansing, makes such a difference to my skin! How are you finding the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate? Alpha H eye cream is intriguing, I loved using their Age Delay cleansing oil so might look into that. Good on you for moisturising so regularly, I'll bet your skin is incredibly soft!
DeleteYou are so cute - falling asleep while blogging! I am very pedantic about all over moisturising, so even if I grumble the whole way through I will apply body lotion before bed. The key is to find one that absorbs quickly!
ReplyDeleteI won't come anywhere near a nail polish bottle past a certain hour, I'm clumsy at the best of times so I'd probably end up with nail polish on my elbows ;)
I moisturise every morning after my shower, I have to in winter it's so dry here I feel like a dried out husk! I also use Antipodes Avocado Pear Night Cream too!
