It has been well documented that I have a weakness for
glitter polishes, and as I mentioned in my BYSpolish post one of my very favourite bottles is Cold as Ice from the ultra-affordable
brand. The beautiful mix of silvery fine shimmers is so addictive for me, and I
adore it when thrown over a cement grey like Wet Cement from Sally Hansen.
Sadly my Seche Vite is super gluggy and in need of resuscitation,
but I think I will end up switching to a Sally
Hansen topcoat and just deal with it later on. What top coat do you use?
*All bottles purchased by me. Honesty, always.
This is super pretty! I love the name of the post too hehe!

@sweetaholic haha thanks, yep it really does remind me of slushy dirty snow, in the prettiest way :p
DeleteInsta-Dri always & forever! This is a super pretty combo, I must try someday soon :) Though probably will have to sub the BYS glitter for China Glaze Snow Globe or Luxe and Lush, though they're not really similar to Cold as Ice.
ReplyDelete@sleepandwater I think Snow Globe would look nice with it, though it definitely wouldn't be as opaque.
DeleteCold as ice is gorgeous, I was trying to remember which shade you were raving about before and couldn't remember!
ReplyDeleteI use Poshé topcoat, I couldn't recommend it enough! I'm on my third bottle. :)
@Nalini Yup Cold as Ice comes highly recommended by me, such an amazing polish!
DeleteI love this manicure :)
ReplyDeleteI use Seche Vite too but I don´t like that fact that it goes thick and goopy so fast. Its so darn expensive here that I am on the hunt for something that is just as good but a bit less expensive :)
I use the Seche Restore thinner atm to help my Seche Vite but I will have to give up soon :)
I really like that Wet Cement color btw :)

xx
@shortylegs Thank you, and I agree Seche Vite is great but so annoying when you get halfway down >< I manage to snag my bottle for $12 (cheaper than any other brand down here!) but now I have to hunt down the thinner, too.
DeleteLove this mani! I have a major glitter weakness too :)
ReplyDelete@Di Thanks, yep glitter is a common weakness I think. Opaque ones like this are the best!
DeleteI never tire of looking at Cold As Ice! Currently I'm using China Glaze Fast Forward as my quick dry top coat.
ReplyDelete@Vita neither do I, such a stellar (and cheap!) shade. I want to try a CG top coat, going to keep my eyes peeled at Cosmetics Direct ;P
Deletethis looks gorgeous! I must try it out myself(:
ReplyDelete@Soobin Thanks, and yes you definitely should and let me know how you go :)
DeleteOh wow, this is so so very pretty! Love love love a nice light grey polish especially in this weather.
ReplyDelete@Sabine thanks beautiful, light grey is such a versatile shade to have in the arsenal :P
