The Daily Tray 03

I was due for an updated daily tray, so I moved everything around and shopped my stash to find some exciting beauty products to get busy with in March.
As you can see, whittling down my daily tray just isn't going to happen. I switch up my makeup almost every day, so it wouldn't make sense to have one shadow, one blush etc sitting out on my counter. When my beauty room is finally ready (should be within the week!) I will have this set up in there, but for now it stays in our guest bathroom where the light is best in the morning and I have room to spread out my beloved beauty products. This rotation will probably stay out for the whole month, with a few edits as we go along in case I get bored or fall in love with a certain look.
Lips are primarily easy and wearable shades right now, as I've been focusing on my eye looks and just need a pretty lip shade that doesn't overpower the eyes. My go-to has been my Kmart Naked lipstick topped with Dior Dormeuse, but I've thrown Chanel Boy back into the mix in an effort to use it up and be able to treat myself to another luxe lipstick to replace it.
Lips
Kmart Naked lipstick
Smashbox Overexposed lipgloss*
MAC Patisserie
Chanel Boy
Bourjois Peach on the Beach
boe Boudoir Beauty jumbo lip crayon
Dior Dormeuse
essence Tribal Summer Waka Waka
Face of Australia Permanently Pink
Dior Exquise lipgloss
YSL Gloss Volupte in 104 Prune Organdi*
My obsession with eye makeup stemmed from Larie's recent post which had me seriously swooning, but I showed restraint and instead of buying the exact products she used I reached into my stash and pulled out my favourite MAC palette - Royal Assets: 6 Warm Eyes which has a stack of amazing colours including MAC Club. I plan on using this palette in a whole bunch of new ways this month, and I'm excited!
Eyes:
Too Faced Pretty Rebel palette
MAC Royal Assets Warm Eyes
Bourjoir Kaki Etonnant eyeshadow
MAC Old Gold pigment
essence Tribal Summer Inti Inka pigment
No7 Mineral Perfection Eyeshadow Trio in 05 Rose
Mineralogie Quad in A List Collection*
Clinique Chubby Tint for Eyes in Ample Amber
Covergirl Flamed Out mascara*
Revlon Lash Potion mascara
Rimmel Rockin' Curves mascara*
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Face of Australia Liquid Eyeliner
YSL Touche Éclat*
This is me showing restraint in the blush stakes, okay?
Cheeks:
Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop*
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta
Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Beige Pearl
Sunday Riley Blushing
Cezanne Lasting Cheek in 01

Throw in my current foundation (L'Oreal Lumi Magique Light Infusing Foundation in N1 Pure Pearl*) and a Valentina perfume sample and we are good to go for the month!

What products do you like the look of from my updated daily tray?
How often do you switch up your daily stash?

Pale Girl Nudes

Finding a nude lip shade that is flattering is about as hard as finding a highly sought after MAC blush a week after its limited edition release! Luckily I've managed to pile up my 'awesome nude lip product' count to four, all of them wearable and little loves of mine.
The Elianto Nutrilip Lipstick in Baby Nude was a Malaysian purchase from a few holidays ago, and I love the (weirdly greyish...) pale nude shade and how light and pleasant it feels on my lips. The one thing I despise about it is the flimsy packaging - I definitely wouldn't recommend leaving this in your handbag as the lid flies off with ease at a moments notice! Would still repurchase if we ever return to Malaysia for a holiday.
I am a big fan of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, and Honey is one of the best shades in the line up for me! It is nice and rosy (making it ace for pale skin in my opinion) The peppermint buzz is lovely and the stain it leaves behind means I don't stress about how it wears off. A winner all around and definitely an underappreciated shade, as I will admit it lacks the excitement of some of the brighter colours in the range (think Rendezvous, Smitten + Crush)
What is that, another lip crayon in a blog post on emmabovarybeauty? I am obviously terrible at hiding my love for this lip formula, and as far as I remember the Clinique Chubby Stick was my first foray into the crayon trend - the original and the best, right? I won Whole Lotta Honey in a social media competition and it has had a pretty permanent spot in my handbag ever since. Glossier than the Revlon version, this is less rosy but dark enough to look nice on my complexion. If I'm wearing a lot of eye makeup I often wear this, and I can easily see myself finishing the whole stick in the near future.
Last but not least we have the token gloss of the group, the Mineralogie Lipgloss in Shell* which is definitely the peachiest of this bunch, but on my lips I feel it is the most 'traditional nude' shade once it hits my lips and pale face. I quite like topping all of the other nudes with this gloss to give them a bit of oomph, and I am a big fan of the packaging as well.

How easy do you find it to wear nude lip products?
Have you hopped on the lip crayon trend, or are you sticking to bright lipsticks instead?

Lover & Shell

I wear this eye combo quite a lot, and it is most likely my favourite colourful eye look I’ve come across. I use two Inglot shades from my most colourful palette to make a shimmery deep orange eye, and though I know that some might think it over the top, I like to play matchy matchy and since I wear orange so much, it just works for me.

I used to struggle to pair a blush with this eye look, but since I bought the Illamasqua Duo, Lover has been my go-to orange toned cheek colour. MAC Coquette was thrown through my brows and smudged under my lower lashline to ground the look, and I used TheBalm’s Mary Lou Manizer atop Lover to get myself glowing.

oh Mary Lou!

Still loving the nude lip trend, I chose fall back shade Nude Delight from Rimmel. Addicted to glossy lips, Mineralogie’s lipgloss in Shell* was plucked from the depths of my handbag and paired with it. I have been wearing this paraben-free shade a stack lately, and I love the way it is pigmented for a gloss, and takes my lips into a pretty nude realm rather than a sheer lip look like my other pale glosses can do.

Are you a fan of orange and peach tones? What blush do you recommend I try next to go with a look like this?
